Capel Floret Multicolour

Liberty Fabrics Capel Floret Multicolour is a vibrant reimagining of one of Liberty’s most beloved floral classics, transforming the iconic Capel design into a luminous tapestry of richly coloured blossoms. The print features a dense scattering of tiny stylised flowers arranged across the fabric in Capel’s signature all-over layout, creating a beautifully textured floral field that feels both timeless and fresh.

Originally inspired by vintage Liberty floral designs from the 1930s and first printed in 1978, Capel became part of Liberty’s Classic collection in 1993 and has remained a favourite ever since. In the Capel Floret Multicolour version, the familiar floral is given new energy through saturated, complementary hues that highlight each tiny bloom and add depth, brightness, and movement across the design.

The Multicolour palette blends an array of fresh botanical shades, often combining vivid pinks, reds, blues, yellows, greens, and warm accents against a darker ground. This colourful treatment creates a patchwork-like richness while retaining the delicate elegance that makes Capel instantly recognisable. The densely packed flowers give the fabric a lush, garden-inspired appearance with wonderful visual texture.
