Frontier Fabrics is an Australian online Christmas fabric store created from a shared love of Christmas, creativity, and handmade traditions.
Our Story
Charles and I grew up with two different Christmas traditions - one celebrated on Christmas Eve, the other on Christmas Day. When we built a life together, we created our own rhythm, centred around peace, hope, love, and giving.
As life became more pressured and our health was impacted, we looked for a way to bring more of what we loved into our everyday lives. Creating together, decorating our home, and preparing for Christmas became a source of calm and connection.
Through family quilters-Charles' mother, Isle, his grandmother Hilde, and our friend Darina - We also noticed how hard it was to find truly beautiful Christmas fabrics in Australia. The colours, the textures, the slow rhythm of needle and thread all deserved better quality materials.
Christmas fabrics felt like the natural next step.
