Our Story
Charles and I grew up with two different Christmas traditions - one celebrated on Christmas Eve, the other on Christmas Day. When we built a life together, we created our own rhythm, centred around peace, hope, love, and giving.
As life became more pressured and our health was impacted, we looked for a way to bring more of what we loved into our everyday lives. Creating together, decorating our home, and preparing for Christmas became a source of calm and connection.
Through family quilters-Charles' mother, Ilse, his grandmothers Hilde and Gran Mary, and our friend Darina - We also noticed how hard it was to find truly beautiful Christmas fabrics in Australia. The colours, the textures, the slow rhythm of needle and thread all deserved better quality materials.
