Primitive Gatherings

Primitive Gatherings is the creative brand of designer, teacher and award-winning quilter Lisa Bongean. Based in Wisconsin, Lisa is widely known for her distinctive primitive and folk-art quilting style, combining traditional quiltmaking with carefully chosen colours, small-scale prints and heritage-inspired motifs. Her work often draws on reproduction fabrics, homespuns, wool appliqué and classic pieced quilt designs.
